This policy explains what Trial Reel Studio collects, why, and how to get rid of it. The service is operated by Vantage Media LLC, 75 E 3rd St, Sheridan, Wyoming 82801-3674, United States.

What we collect

Account information. Your email address and a hash of your password, so you can sign in.

Instagram data. When you connect an Instagram professional account we store: your Instagram account ID and username; an access token issued by Instagram; a list of the reels published on your own account, including captions, timestamps, permalinks and thumbnails; and performance metrics for those reels — views, reach, likes, comments, saves and shares.

Content we generate. Edited copies of your own videos, produced by the service when you ask for them.

We never collect your Instagram password, your direct messages, your followers' personal information, or any other person's content.

How we use it

• Your reel list and its metrics are shown to you so you can choose which reel to test again.
• A selected video is downloaded temporarily so an edited version can be produced.
• An edited video is published to your Instagram account only after you explicitly approve it.

How videos are handled when publishing

Instagram downloads video from a public address in order to publish it. Each approved video is therefore uploaded to temporary public storage immediately before publishing, and deleted immediately afterwards. The original downloaded video is deleted from our servers as soon as the edited version has been produced.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your data and we do not share it for advertising. We share it only with the infrastructure providers required to run the service: our hosting and storage providers, and Meta Platforms when publishing to your account at your request.

How long we keep it

Data is retained while your account is active. Disconnecting Instagram immediately deletes the stored access token and ends all access to your account. Deleting your account removes all associated data within 30 days.

Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data at any time by emailing ben@benewert.com. If you are in the EEA or the UK you have additional rights under the GDPR, including data portability and the right to object to processing. If you are in California you have rights under the CCPA, including the right to know what we hold and to request its deletion. We do not sell personal information under either framework.

Children

The service is not intended for anyone under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes

If this policy changes materially we will update the date above and notify account holders by email.
